My name is Jia. I’m a Mechatronics Engineering student from University of Waterloo I’ve recently started work here at Enable Training and Consulting Inc. as an Online Training Digital Media Developer. Part of my work consists of creating SolidWorks Tutorials and editing videos with Camtasia and Audacity.
For my last co-op work term, I was assisting in the design and manufacturing of an experimental facility for studying the interaction of vortex rings with highly compliant smart materials. The facility will be used to examine the feasibility of extracting energy from coherent fluid structures.
I also joined the University of Waterloo Formula SAE Team. I’m hoping I can become a team designer someday!
When I am not working, I like to play video games (PlayStation, R Star Loyalist). I am also a Huston Rockets fan (Yao Rules!!).
