Profile
I’m the other kind of geek- the non-technical kind. When I was young, I went to band camp (twice), I read Shakespeare for fun, and I loved science fiction movies. I actually enjoyed being a student, and stayed in university until they gave me an Honours BA in English and Philosophy, and then an MA in Philosophy, and then told me to stop bugging them. After that, I spent more than ten years teaching people of all ages, shapes and sizes, and learned how to explain huge, nasty ideas in ways that were fun and useful. These days, I’m a writer, editor and VP at Enable (lucky, lucky me), and I love to do philosophy workshops and learning materials for anyone who’s interested in feeding their mind. I’m a new mom, champion baker (self-proclaimed), world traveler, speed reader…and idea junky.
